Dear Pastor Skip,
Just wanted to tell you that through your message on "wax filler" love, I was able to see why my family and I have been experiencing the hardships we have faced for the past two years. I was showing love for people for the purpose of gain, and now I am receiving fruits of that sin. I have just had a long talk with God about it, and I am now back on track! I feel great and I know things are going to get better! Thank you so much for your radio program! Take care and God bless all of you.
Erin K.
Since October '07, I have listened to your program almost every morning on my way to work. I go to work very early, as I drive a delivery truck. At 3AM, WJUX, The Bridge Radio Station carries your program and it has been such a blessing to me. Thank you for your application oriented teaching of the Word. Sometimes it's hard to find that, of course it is even harder to apply it in actuality.
But as D.L. Moody said, "The Scriptures were not given to increas our knowledge but to change our lives." Thank you. May God richly bless you.
In Christ,
Matthew
Thank so much for your wonderful radio ministry. It is a real blessing to me and I am continually growing in the Lord. Please never feel that you are not giving to us, as listeners, what we need to grow and become mature believers in the Lord.
Where I live it is very difficult to get any kind of radio reception. I took an old extension cord apart, stripped the wire ends off of one wire and attached it to my little radio antenna and ran it out through my living room to the antenna outside. Now I can get more reception and you! Thank God for ingenuity, reception and your ministry.
I am disabled and it is very difficult to get out, so I thank you so much for your ministry! I look forward everyday for your voice, as I know you teach only doctrine.
Gail
I just wanted to show my appreciation for all the people who through God's grace continue to bring us your program and touch so many lives, including mine. I would be very sad if I was unable to hear this program and gain the knowledge as I read along in my Bible. May God continue to bless and grow this ministry, and may we all be witnesses to those who come into our lives.
Carmen
I am writing this email to thank you for the message you gave on The Bridge FM this morning. I was so dejected this morning, I was down and discouraged due to many negative things happening in my career and life. I was trying hard to keep a smile on my face. My negative vibes are affecting my family. But the message was very good; it put me back on track. It was so timely. I really, really appreciate it. I am looking at the day positively.
God bless you and your mission.
Regards,
Binu
I grew up believing in God and that Jesus was his son, but I was not taught the Bible. I never knew who Jesus really was or that without knowing Him we could not enter Heaven. I rebelled in my teenage years, got pregnant and married at 17 and was stuck in an abusive marriage for 18 years. My ex-husband became a Christian about three years before our divorce and tried to convert me overnight. His aggressiveness to use the Bible as a weapon against me hardened my heart. I stayed away from church and had no desire to read a Bible that condemned me the way he said it did.
About four years ago, I started working in a dental office where the dentist is a Christian. He very generously works on the missionaries at no cost to them. We also see Pastor Chuck Smith and a lot of pastors from Calvary Chapel. God started to convict me. He was calling me to him, and I kept pushing him away. Finally, one day I decided to tune into KWVE and maybe hear a Bible study and see what the hoopla was all about. I tuned into yours on my way to work. From the very first, I was drawn to your way of teaching. You have helped me learn the Bible and apply it to my life in such a great way. I look forward to your messages each and every day and read my Bible every single day. I came to the Lord about three years ago, and was baptized as well. I know without a shadow of a doubt that I will be in Heaven with Jesus when my life on this earth is over.
I have been happily married to a wonderful man for 15 years. He listens to you as well every morning as he gets ready for work. You have helped tremendously in his walk and were instrumental in his finally giving his life to Jesus. We both thank you so much for all you do and all of the lives you have touched. You are truly blessed, and God is doing amazing things through you!
In Christ's Love,
Karen and Thomas
I have enjoyed Skip's ministry whenever I have been able to hear it on the radio, and it has been such a blessing including the DVDs I have purchased previously.
May God richly bless each of you involved with this Ministry of teaching and sharing the Word. What the world needs is Jesus; and knowledge of His love and mercy.
Thank You,
Theresa
I have to tell you what a source of blessing you have been to my wife and myself. I thank God for you! I listen to KWVE.
I am originally from India and feel bad that a great Bible teaching program like yours is not on the air there. Please let me know what it will take to be on the air there. I think there are some Christian programs on the short wave but a lot of young people seem to be listening to FM stations now.
Blessings,
Your brother in Christ

I live in Tucson, but was in Albuquerque when Calvary was by a Walgreen’s on Eubank. It’s so good to see it grow, and so good to see Skip back. I have always held a warm spot in my heart for Calvary, being there when my first wife died 21 years ago. Although I don't go to services as much as I should here in Tucson, my faith has been and continues to be tested.
But today I have found my place back where I belong. Funny how today’s message about the "domino effect" was the perfect message on this glorious day. I will now continue to make the right choices and make the right separations.
Keep up the good work. God bless.
Leonard
I listen to you daily from 1:00-1:30 p.m. on The Word FM radio network in Northeastern and Central PA--usually on the Web at my church office. I am the pastor of a Lutheran/Reformed - Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and United Church of Christ (UCC) congregation in New Ringgold, Schuylkill County, PA.
I was moved to contact you with gratitude for your teaching that I heard today on Holy Communion. All too often in the evangelical church I hear a diminishing of the sacraments, especially Communion. I truly appreciate the way you spoke of the Eucharist as such a treasure. In most Lutheran and UCC congregations monthly Communion is the norm. I would prefer celebrating the sacrament every Lord's Day and think there is ample evidence in the history and tradition of the church to move in that direction. I realize I only heard one part of a longer teaching but wanted, nevertheless, to thank you for what struck me as so solid and uncommon in churches of your tradition. We may find that we differ on many points of theology but I was glad to hear what sounds like some serious agreement on the Lord's Supper.
Thanks,
Mike

Hello,
I just wanted to let you know I listen to The Connection in the morning on Hope FM 90.5. Thank you so much for being a part of this radio ministry. My husband listens during his commute to work, my son and I listen while I drive him to school, then I listen on my way to our farm, and at the farm I have the radio in the barn tuned to Hope FM. So, my Dad and I listen while we're working...and I suppose the horses listen too.
I have been struggling to find an organization like Cavalry Chapel for a long time. It is so wonderful to listen to the Gospel, hear verse-by-verse studies and not have it be watered down, liberalized, or even just passed over as some other places do because it may "offend" the listener. Please keep up this wonderful work, be steadfast and true to His Word so that others like myself may continue listen and grow. I am just one listener who wrote; I'm sure for every one who writes there are at least 100 who listen and don't write.
Thank you so much for being obedient to God.
Sincerely,
Victoria
Thank you so much, Pastor Skip, for being online. If it wasn't for you, Pastor Chuck Smith from Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, and Pastor Jack Hibbs from Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, my husband and I would be stuck in a church that we weren't getting fed from. We are now attending Calvary Chapel Chino Hills and LOVE IT! We have grown so much with the Lord because of The Connection and The Word For Today. Thank you for being on the radio to help us and other listeners come to know the Lord.
God Bless you!
Mary

Hi. My name is Mike; I go to Calvary Chapel in Hammonton, N.J., and I listen to the connection on Hope FM, 90.5. I hear your broadcasts at 7:30 AM during my drive to work. I love Pastor Skip’s teaching; he has a special gift of making things clear and easy to understand. Thanks for being on the air and committed to sending God’s precious word out! I found the interview with Joel Rosenberg very interesting. Thank you for helping me start my day in the word. Your ministry will be in my prayers.
God Bless you all
Mike
Thank you, Skip, for this encouragement, I really need it, especially today, I had been kind of down. May the Lord keep using you in a mighty way.
God bless you abundantly,
Maria
Thanks for the email about Love. I hope that love touches you and yours and that God grants you a loving, prosperous and happy 2008.
Keep up the good work. If it is not asking too much, please keep me in your prayers. Thank you
Mary
This has been my first full year in walking with our savior. Pastor Skip has always been my teacher for scripture since 1994. Now I attend Calvary Chapel Of Chino weekly and spend my mornings in prayer with our LORD. Thanks for radio ministries, without them I’m lost. I will pray to be able to support the church. Thanks for everything.
Fernando
I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation for all the materials that you sent across to me in the course of the year. I pray that God will increase and empower you in the ministry in Jesus' name. Your 2008 shall be full of pleasant surprises in Jesus' name. Wishing you a most profound year ahead.
My Love and Best Regards,
Sunny
This devotional is a real inspiration. Thanks for all the good things you send. Your sermons are a real blessing. We listen, almost daily. Merry Christmas to you and all the staff.
Love in CHRIST,

I accidentally came upon a morning sermon on K-Wave radio in Southern California. I pushed a regularly music station but got, instead, Skip talking. His words and presentation captured my attention, so I continued to listen daily. Then he was scheduled to appear in Riverside, Ca.
I hadn't been to church in several years, but had a chance to see Skip in person so I scheduled my day around it, which I believe included missing the first half of the "Rams" football game. The experience of seeing Skip and the relaxed atmosphere of the Riverside Harvest campus made me a regular and now I regularly attend if not I watch Skip for Albuquerque on my lap top. The experience has brought me back to the church and given my 12-year-old daughter a church, where she had not attended in the past. So for that I thank you, Skip. Also God as I see the whole journey as a divine intervention.

My name is Brian; I am 30 years old and live in Lewisville, North Carolina
with my wife and two children. I have been listening to you preach on our
local radio station (106.9 The Light) for almost two years now, and I had to
somehow get in touch with you.
I have known Jesus as my personal savior since I was young. I have a strong
passion for God's word and His will. I just wanted to take this time to thank
you for your preaching. God's word flows through you with such clarity and
freshness that I am in awe of God's powerful work in you. I understand God's
word better through you than any other preacher that I have had the pleasure
of listening to. It finally got to the point where listening to you preach once a
day on the radio was not enough. About that time you came out with the
"Deep and Wide" CD set, and I jumped all over that. Thanks, by the way! I
thank God because you are out there preaching His word and being bold for
Jesus.
I heard you say on the radio once that "Everyone needs an Apostle Paul in
their lives." Well, I must say that you are my Apostle Paul. I continue to pray
that you remain bold and strong in Jesus, that you may preach his word and
show Jesus to as many people as possible.
Thank you again for your ministry and for you love of preaching God's word.
Your brother in Christ,
Brian
I have just finished going through Skip's teaching on the book of Revelation and want to share all good things with those who teach the word of God. I appreciate good teaching and Skips ability to teach with great depth and bluntness from the scripture (something that is missing in some modern churches). Skip has truly been a blessing to me.
Thank you for all you are doing, and God bless.
Kevin - Missoula, Montana
I remember the first time I listened to you for the first time on the radio, I was so eager to to listen to following message the next day. It was so encouraging to hear God's word being explained in such a way that all made sense, this was very uplifting to me, for God in His mercy gave me a second chance to serve Him, (back slid once & for the only time).
I listen to you regularly thru inter net, I have purchase several teachings & shared them with others, hope you don't mind, since I can't always purchase additional ones. Your ministry has been such a great blessing not only to me but to other people, I've share your devotionals, teachings; love those stories you share & all the additional information you provide for us on customs or other related info to better comprehend God's word. I share your teachings with my wife & two daughters, so we are all learning & growing in God's word, I wish your radio ministries were translated to Spanish there are so many people I wish could share your teachings.
I am blessed of God thru your ministry, may God's anointing continue to be upon you, & may God bless & keep your family under His Loving care,
Love in Christ,
Gerardo
We at The BridgeFM pray that God is continuing to bless your ministry and aid your mission to spread the good news of His Son. Thank you for working with and supporting The BridgeFM as we broadcast the gospel throughout New York and New Jersey. At The Bridge, we periodically view the websites of our ministry partners. As of September 18, 2007, your website does not list The BridgeFM as a radio station that airs your program. We request that you please update your site and add WRDR BridgeFM to your station list. Thank you for your cooperation and aid to our ministry!

P.S. We are Blessed with a wonderful Pastor ourselves. Our Pastor is
Vince Lombardo -- a great guy!!!!
I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your teaching. Right now I am going through Revelation with you and enjoying it so much. It has really been a blessing and a wonderful Bible study tool. For instance, it is the first time I have an understanding of the importance of music in worship. I guess I thought it was "time filler." Not the usual stuff one gets out of Revelation.
I am a member of a Bible-believing Bible teaching church that I cherish, but your teachings are like the cherry on the sundae. I found you while surfing the web for Joel Rosenberg. So I just wanted to tell you that while you are in New Mexico and I am in Iowa, we are worshipping the risen Lord together. Thanks!!! Now I am trying to get my husband to listen too.
I just want you to know that you have taught me so much about the faith that I feared as a child and love as a grown woman. You and your program make a difference in my life. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Thank You,
Gina
Dear Skip ,
The Connection has been such a blessing in my life. I had gone to church as a child, but I never really understood why. I can remember being Baptized and crying afterwards because I felt as though I didn't have a choice. I didn't know what it was all about. My mother explained that I just needed to memorize the Lord's Prayer and we could have a party.
I listen to The Connection every day on my way to work on The Bridge
99.7 FM here in Port Jervis, New York. I would have loved to have met you when you were at the Mid Hudson Civic Center, but I've recently torn the cartilage in my knee and it's hard to travel.
I just want you to know that you have taught me so much about the faith that I feared as a child and love as a grown woman. You and your program make a difference in my life. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Thank You,
Cara
Hello from Jackson, NJ,
I just wanted to thank you and encourage you to continue in persevering to broadcast God’s word on the air. I am a radio listener of WRDR - The Bridge in Howell, NJ. Thursday 8/2 I entered my vehicle after reading Proverbs 1 & 2 and meditating on the fear of the Lord. As soon as I turned on the radio and began listening to Skip’s message on Moses – Champion of Faith & Fear I was blown away by the Lord’s awesome timing. In addition to reading the Proverbs I am also doing a study on my own with called Believing God. I am in the fifth week and of the course and we are studying the hall of faith, Moses in particular. That morning when I read the Proverbs I asked the Lord to show me what the fear of the Lord truly meant. Knowing that there are no coincidences with God he spoke loud and clear when I heard "let us look at the fear of the Lord, many have the wrong impression of the fear of the Lord…so let’s look at Heb 11 and look at Moses Faith and the relationship between faith and fear". I was blown away because the Lord pulled together those two separate studies that I have been doing over the past few weeks and wove it together in your (His) message. It truly is amazing how the Lord speaks to us and answers us when we say in faith, "Lord, speak to me".
Thank you again and thank you for airing on "The Bridge". May the Lord continue to bless you, your family, and His ministry through you.
In Christ,
Liz
Hello Skip ,
Thank you for the great messages you give through the word of God every morning on the radio. It was the Ten Commandments series disc set my brother gave me that I believe led me to a relationship with Jesus and the salvation he gives freely to me. I find your messages clear and easy to understand and they get me ready for the day ahead. I was brought up in the Catholic faith and your series on Champions of Faith has been a great help to handle the situation with my family and friends who feel that I have changed "religion." As a recent college graduate I am in consistent prayer with God to show me the career path he wants for me, so I am waiting for the response.
Thank You,
Oswaldo
Dear Calvary Chapel,
I listen to your program every morning if I can on Hope FM 90.5. In January my husband passed away and left me with great lonliness. I am happy for him to be in the presence of the Lord and at peace after many years of alcholism and sadness. A few months before he died he received the Lord as his savior and I saw a change in him. Now my life is totally different and I miss him so much. However, I know God has everything in His great hands and He will lead me every hour and every minute. I have been listening to your sermons on suffering and thank you so much for them.
About February the Lord brought me to this radio station as I was looking for another one and I found your program among the morning speakers on Hope FM. I pray that God will help me to use this suffering to help others. I know God is holding me up because I have peace and joy in stead of hopelessness like I see everywhere around me. People don't understand why I am not a "basket case" as someone said she would be. Thank you again for your ministry!
Vicky
Dear Pastor Skip,
I really enjoy and respect your radio program "The Connection". I listen to it every day on my drive to work. It really inspires me and gives me hope and insight on my life. All of Skip's teachings are informative and truly rich in spiritual guidance. Your show helps me make good decisions in my daily life and shows me the way to better living. Skip's stories and sermons help me to be a better father to my daughter, a better son to my parents, and a better christian for everybody. Life is really hard sometimes but people like you are the reason we have hope and faith.
Thank you so much for spreading the word of God and doing such a good service to his children. You truly make the world a better place. Your show helps me get through my day and makes me want to be a better person. Thank you again for doing so much for so many.
Cameron
Pastor Skip ,
I want to thank you for your radio ministry here in California. I have the horrible 91 Fwy commute from Riverside Co. to Orange Co., but it has been a blessing because every day I listen to you and receive God's word.
I have told many other coworkers of KWVE and some of them now listen to you as well. It is the most uplifting way to start a day. While some people come to work "bummed"
out, I arrive singing and happy. I have grown so much because of your ministry - thinking more of others. I see contentment in my life and less stress as I know God is always working for good - even when things don't seem that way. I hope to one day take a trip to Albequerque to visit a friend. I will only visit her though if she will come to church to see you - that is the condition of my visit:)
Thank you for your true biblical teachings. God has blessed you not only with an understanding of the Word, but with the gift of delivering his Word to others with honesty and compassion. I used to feel my commute was totallyl draining me, now I get upset if the traffic moves too fast and I miss any of your sermon! Thank you again Pastor Skip.
Suzie, California
Dear Sound of Life,
I want to thank you once again for inviting me to a great event, this time Saturday nite in Poughkeepsie. Bebo Norman was great, as well as Skip Heitzig & his message. I brought my 13 year old son KYLE & 3 of his friends. When Pastor Skip offered anyone to come up front for a stage/alter call, to give their lives to Christ, Kyle turned to me & said, Dad I'm going up! I walked a distance behind him with tears in my eyes. When Kyle was complete in commiting his life to Jesus, he turned to me & both with tears of joy we hugged and PRAISED GOD.
Thank you Sound of Life, Bebo, Pastor Skip, Calvary Chapel, and most of all, Thank you Jesus!
Mike, Wantage NJ
Dear Skip,
Man, oh man, Skip! God Bless you, my brother! I'm a servant of God doing only a small part, in comparison to what others are doing or have done. I love to hear you preach, bro! You're awesome! Glory be to God! You deserve a lot of credit. I'd love to hear from you one day. I can tell you how one day I prayed for a specific answer and after praying for it over and over again, and even asking others to put it in their prayers, God used you, through my iPod, to answer my prayer. It just so happens that your entire sermon had to do with what I was asking for, Hallelujah! I love you man!
God bless you Skip and sorry to hear about our sister, your Mom. You and I both know she's in better hands now. Dios te Bendiga! My blessings are sent out to you and your ministry, in Jesus' holy and powerful Name, AMEN!
Your Brother York from Statesville NC
Pastor Skip Heitzig,
I just wanted to say that I very much appreciate hearing “The Connection” on my way into work each day. I listen on WRDR, The Bridge in NY/NJ. I am very encouraged by the way that you deliver the message in such a straight forward, but loving tone. You handle the Word with care and treat it like the jewel that it is and emphasize how it can change our lives. It’s great to be fed with the “meat” of the word every morning. Because of your broadcast, I considered attending a local Calvary Chapel. I couldn’t find one in my county, but I did find one that was only 20 minutes away in the next county.
My wife and kids and I have been attending Calvary Chapel of North Jersey now for 6 months and we are being blessed every week. We hope to serve and grow in fellowship there. Our Pastor is of the very same teaching/preaching style as your own and has the same faithfulness to the Word. We have finally found a church home where we can grow and we just wanted to express our thanks.
God bless you,
Bob & Luany & Matthew, Andria, Gabriel
Dear Connection,
I have started listening to Pastor Skip Heitzig almost every morning and sometimes in the evening, on the radio or online through KWave. His preaching has so blessed me and I believe that God teaches me through the Pastor. I cannot wait to hear him preach during our Tent Revival at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa next week. Thank you for allowing me to give. God has blessed my life spiritually that I would like to honor Him by giving to your ministry and to others. Everything belongs to God. I am just giving back what belongs to Him. I am excited to see what God will do to advance His Kingdom in the years to come. My prayers are with all of you at The Connection.
In His strong love and grace,
Eileen
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Thanks for all your efforts working towards the Kingdom. May the LORD richly bless you; your ministries, as He touches lives as only He can! May He grant you wisdom in the use of all He has given you. I pray His name is glorified and honored through your ministries and others like yours. Thanks for letting me be a small part. And thanks be to the LORD God Almighty who has blessed us in so many ways!!
God bless,
Thomas
Dear Skip and Ministry,
I am extremely thankful and blessed with the books and cassette tapes that you had sent. The literature is great; a true act of love the Spirit gives us through our LORD and Savior. I appreciate and consider myself fortunate for all our LORD’s gifts.
Always His humble servant,
Frank
Dear Pastor Skip,
This is Joseph again writing from China. I am doing well by the grace of God. I have decided to write to you again because I love you and I magnify God for the great work He is doing through you. God through your messages have transformed my life, redefined my vision and given me a new zeal to do more for God. I always give praise to God for your ministry and family. I pray God will expand your territory.
God bless you Pastor Skip,
Joseph
Sir/Madam,
My name is Binu. I am from India. I used to listen to radio program while driving to and from office. I used to listen to Whoopi Goldberg's program in morning. Accidentally few days back I touched on radio button and I lost that channel, trying to find that channel I came across 103.1. Oh I loved it, since then I am listening to your radio. I become fan of Pastor Skip. I sincerely appreciate your efforts. Today I heard your email address while listening to your program, so thought of thanking you guys. Please convey my special thanks to Pastor Skip. May God bless you all.
Hi Skip,
As we were driving along the Samoa coastline last night, watching the
beautiful surf, idyllic beaches, and colorful reef, I was listening to
you teach the Word of God!
STOKED! If everyone there could kindly be praying for the rest of the
work that needs to be done so that we can complete all the connections
and other hardware issues that need to be finished, and get the 2nd
transmitter up on the other mountain even though its now raining, and
especially that everything will work and there will be no Samoan time
delays (Island time issues), it would be so appreciated.
Samoa is blessed to have you teaching them the Word of God rightly
divided. |
